Juicing for Fun and to get those extra nutrients
Love that sweet rich taste of freshly squeeze juice? Well you’re going to love it a whole lot more! Because juice is good for you! It is an excellent way to get extra nutrients and vitamins into your body, especially if your somebody who is always on the go!
Juicing is a great way to quickly slurp down great tasting fresh fruit and vegetables.

What to put in your juice? Well how are you feeling today? Your body is already telling you what it needs…
Feeling tired? Lack of energy?
Juice Bananas!
Bananas have potassium, tryptophan and Vitamin B to help give you an energy boost, assist in the conversion of food to energy, and support cellular energy production.
More health benefits include:
- Lower blood pressure
- 34% less chance of developing asthma
- Support better heart health
- Improve digestive health
- Studies on the amino acid Tryptophan found in bananas suggests memory preservation and boosting your mood.
Beetroot
Help lower blood pressure: As it is one of the richest sources of antioxidants and nitrates. Nitrates are already naturally occurring in beetroot, in your body they naturally convert to nitric oxide: A molecule that wides and relaxes blood vessels and affects how efficiently cells use oxygen.
Carrot
Packed with Vitamin A: To help you with vision, immune system and reproduction.
Plus, it is so nice and sweet in juices! Bonus for me because I have such a sweet tooth!
Kale
Aids digestion due to being high in fibre.
Also contains:
- More iron
- Vitamin K, C and A
- Calcium
- L-tyrosine
- It is also low in calories!
Kiwi
Kiwifruit acts as an anti-inflammatory which helps lower digestive illnesses. It also decreases heart disease and blood pressure.
This is a great way to get those extra vitamins, minerals and nutrients from juicing fresh vegetables and fruits. Though please note whole fruit and vegetables to contain additional healthy fibre which is lost during most ways of juicing.
